It's another Monday and it delivers great music---if you planned ahead. The Casbah is hosting St. Lucia for a second time, and the show is completely sold out, which seems to be the case more and more these days, so do yourself a favor and check out the calendar in advance. Over at Soda Bar, Sylvan Esso perform. The group is made up of vocalist Amelia Meath of Mountain Man and electronic musician Nick Sanborn of Megafaun, two incredible acts in their own right, so this collab should be quite special. Around town, our friend Banjo Matt performs at Tin Can, while Seasick Steve takes over the Belly Up. Mondays can be awesome if you just know where to look.

Monday, Feb. 10:

  • St. Lucia, Conway @ Casbah (sold out)
  • Sylan Esso, Swim Team @ Soda Bar
  • The Tin Can Country Club Showcase, featuring Matthew Strachota @ Tin Can
  • Seasick Steve @ Belly Up
  • After the Fall, DC Fallout, Castoff, Four Tracks @ Tower Bar
  • DJ Bongo Tony @ Bar Pink
  • Velvet Cafe @ Alexander's (30th and Upas)
  • Artpower! Presents St Lawrence String Quartet @ The Loft
  • Robin Henkel @ Humphrey's Backstage Live
  • Open Mic hosted by Chad Taggert @ Lestat's
  • Electric Waste Band @ Winston's
  • Kinetic Soul with Antonio Aguilera, Joey Jimenez, Jonny Tarr @ Henry's Pub
