Tonight is an exciting night for live music in San Diego. Cate Le Bon performs at Soda Bar, while Willie's son Lukas Nelson returns to Solana beach, definitely to the delight of all the ladies of the Belly Up. The Griffin is on the market and is winding down their booking, but with Futurebirds performing (along with Chess Wars and Ed Ghost Tucker opening), this is going to be a killer night. Last but not least, Irish alt-rockers Ash perform at the Casbah for the first time since 2005. To see these guys in the tiny Casbah is going to be something really special, though looking down this list, lots of special performances await all over town this Saturday night.

Saturday, Feb. 1:

  • Ash, Deaf Havana @ Casbah
  • Futurebirds, Chess Wars, Ed Ghost Tucker @ Griffin
  • Lukas Nelson, POTR, Aloha Radio @ Belly Up
  • Cate Le Bon, Kevin Morby, Octagrape, Flower Animals @ Soda Bar
  • Sandollar, Oh No, Sol Rising @ 710 Beach Club
  • Millionaire Beach Bums, Parkway Avenue, Rocking Rangers, Four Elements, Sunday Evening @ SOMA
  • The North @ Dizzys
  • First Friday Club, Lotus the Band, Rockola @ Humphreys Backstage Live
  • Sierra West, Cara, Jessica Bundy @ Lestat's
  • Hot Mustard @ Tower Bar
  • Amigo, And We Are Them, Machines Learning @ Tin Can
