I feel like there's a theme this week of When Big Bands Go Small. On Sunday, Bar Pink had Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio, and tonight there are two sold-out shows that could have been in much larger rooms. Angels and Airwaves quickly sold out after their Belly Up show announcement, and Crosses swiftly sold out the Casbah when people caught on to the fact that the band features Deftones singer Chino Moreno and guitarists Shaun Lopez and Scott Chuck of Far. Fortunately, if you didn't grab these hot tickets, you might still be able to grab some tickets to Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. over at Soda Bar. The band has played San Diego a few times now, and each new show is even better than the last and is a guaranteed good time.
Wednesday, Feb. 1:
Casbah & Sezio Present: Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., Tourism @ Soda Bar
Crosses, Dawn Golden and Rosy Cross, Secret Empire @ Casbah (sold out)
