Brett Dennen barefoot shuffles his way into the Observatory North Park on Tuesday.

It's been a little while since singer/songwriter Brett Dennen has been to town, so his performance tonight at the Observatory North Park is a long awaited one by fans. His endearing charm defies his giant six-foot-plus stature, and he's been known to shake his booty -- much to the delight of his female-heavy fan base. With opener Willy Tea Taylor, this should be a pretty great night of music. Of course, around town you can catch the monthly Hip-Hop Beat Battle with DJ Artistic at the Casbah, get your face melted by the sludge metal of Cold Blue Mountain or catch Halloran's local night at the Merrow.
