Got a Case of the Mondays?

Tim Pyles hosts Anti-Monday League night at the Casbah with an all local lineup

It's no secret around here that we love Tim Pyles. There is nobody in San Diego who has been a bigger cheerleader for local music and he works tirelessly, as a SoundDiego host, FM 94/9 radio deejay and host of the Local 94/9, writing for Pacific Magazine, and booking for the Casbah, among hosting numerous community events and still taking time to go out to shows even when he didn't book them. For several years now, he's been hosting Anti-Monday League and this is where he shines, curating local lineups before the bands are on everyone else's radar. I happen to know that it is his selections of local bands that influences the booking at several other venues around town. He's friendly and accessible and just a fan of music, and tonight, like most every Monday, he'll be at the Casbah with more local bands who could be the next big thing in this town. It's great to support someone who supports so many, and tonight is your chance to feel his fire.
