Sounds Like San Diego: Dec. 3
    Maxwell Hamilton
Broken Stems release their album at the Irenic on Saturday, Dec. 3.

Hopefully you're in the Christmas spirit this weekend because the events are plentiful today, including Carols & Barrels at the Port Pavilion, the Made Holiday Market at the Lafayette, South Park's Holiday Walkabout and day two of December Nights (which, despite the name, runs all day). By nightfall, you can catch your share of music. Casbah goes punk with Agent Orange, the Belly Up welcomes folk and world music sisters Chloe and Leah Smith of Rising Appalachia, and the Music Box hosts another butt-shaking night with the "atmospheric indie electronic dance-pop" of Rufus du Sol. For the all ages set or the local music lovers, our friends Broken Stems celebrate an album release at the Irenic that can be your early stop of the night.
