As Christmas nears, you'd think things would start to get quiet around here, but that's just not the case, and tonight's shows are a perfect example of that. I'd be happy to catch the killer lineup at Tin Can on any night of the week; Soda Bar has a sweet bill, with the rare emergence of TV Girl; the Dublin Mob XXXmas Party promises to bring some rock & roll into your life; and Black Sands will be performing some new material over at Eleven. Of all of these, however, the most special is probably the show at the Whistle Stop featuring Drew Andrews and Spectral Cities. His father, Sven-Erik Seaholm will be opening the show, and they'll be playing some tunes together, too. It isn't often that they get the opportunity to perform together, so it will definitely be worth checking out.
