The weekend is in full swing, the kids are out of school, and we're riding the home stretch until Christmas. You need some adult time, and since your holiday parties are probably out of the way, now you can really let loose. Bring your dancing shoes to the Casbah on Saturday, where you can jump, jive and wail to Big Sandy & His Flyrite Boys, who have been playing the Casbah since the beginning of the Casbah. No band has played the venue more -- you'll feel right at home no matter if you've seen them for 25 years or if this is your first time. Around town, Eric Canzona sheds his Heavy Guilt for a show at the Hideout, Subtropics play their second show of the week, this time at Tower Bar, and the Star Theatre in Oceanside has put together a holiday assemblage of local musicians to get North County into the holiday spirit.
