If you've ever been to the Casbah -- and by now you might be a regular-- you'll notice there are a series of posters framed around the bar, featuring some of the most memorable shows of the '90s. Granted, there have been thousands of shows since then, and from what I hear, some newer art will be adorning the walls soon for the 25th anniversary, but one of those that's already hung is especially noticeable: Pere Ubu -- it's right as you walk into the main room from the patio. So it's fitting that, as the anniversary approaches, legendary the avant-garage band will return to the Casbah. They are slated to perform with locals Octagrape, and it's sure to be a rocking night. If that doesn't suit your fancy, Little Hurricane blow back to town at 207, NOFX perform at House of Blues and the Beautiful View own the night at Bar Pink.
