Icona Pop Return

Some great shows go off tonight, including Icona Pop at House of Blues

Sometimes I prefer nights that just have one great show, because it takes all the guesswork out of planning a night. There's no weighing the pros and cons of your options. Unfortunately, this is not one of those nights. However, too many great shows is a good problem to have. Down at the House of Blues, Icona Pop perform after an earlier show this year at Cricket Wireless. Everyone has heard their radio hit "I Love It," even with a Kids Bop version of the song renamed "I Love It" and dozens of remixes. Soda Bar hosts Bleached, who are a fuzzed out indie rock fave, and there are some great local openers that make this a solid night. My vote, however, is Kitten at the Casbah. The female fronted band blew me away earlier this year with the most energy I've seen onstage in ages, and singer Chloe Chaidez is also a graduate of the School of Rock, which is quite an endorsement for the organization.
