Leave it to 91x to make something awesome out of a bad situation. The station booked Jane's Addiction as this year's Wrex the Halls headliners, and supposedly the band is in Japan, so they would have been back in time -- but their gear and staging would not, so they canceled their appearance. So, as 91x is wont to do, they kept the show sans Jane's, moved it to SOMA, and renamed the event Lump of Coal. Tickets were refunded, so you have to buy a new ticket, but you should have no problem buying them at the box office (bring cash!) to save on service charges. You'll be treated to Foals, who were just nominated for BBC's British Artist of the Year and are already making album of the year lists across blogs and print media. This lineup is full of depth from beginning to end, so if you need plans this Sunday night, you definitely have a win at SOMA.
