There is so much to do this weekend that it's hard to cover it all. You can go out and get all of your holiday shopping done between the Vinyl Junkies Record Swap at the Casbah, Christmas in the Village in La Mesa and the Makers Arcade Holiday Fair at the Port. But once it's time for music, you can't go wrong with this year's first night of Wrex the Halls. With Beck, Local Natives, Glass Animals and Bishop Briggs, you are in for a night of bands who are all amazing on stage. I can't leave out my bff Ben Bridwell and Band of Horses, who haven't been here in ages (probably because my blogging made them hate this town). Long story. But they're here and I hope they play "In a Drawer," because I can never get that song out of my head. Around town, legends Pere Ubu are at the Casbah, Pylon is at the Hideout and Benjamin Francis Leftwich keeps it chill at Soda Bar.
