Tonight is a good night to get out and take a chance on new talent. While Aloe Blacc has been an MC for years, it's his soulful singing that is going to make tonight a night for lovers at the Casbah, or you can check out Murrietta's Trudgers, a side project of Brent Mitzner (Strange Frames, Rapid Youth, Blessure Grave) that's been buzzed about on tastemaking sites like RCRDLBL. You can also keep it local and get your dance groove on with "The Revue", featuring some of San Diego's best funk and soul projects, with the door proceeds benefitting local homeless youth. Sounds like a night to wear my dancing shoes.
