It is really hard to beat two back-to-back nights of incredible shows, but to be completely honest, the show I have been waiting for all summer is happening tonight at the Casbah. Courtney Barnett hails from Australia and sure that she wouldn't meet commercial success, self-released her own music. Now on Mom + Pop records in the US, Barnett has been featured heavily on satellite radio and NPR, and every interview makes her style that much cooler. This is a woman you want to see live and further, she seems like the kind of person you just want to hang out with. She killed it at Lollapalooza over the weekend, and now we get to enjoy her in the intimacy of the Casbah. Do not miss this show.
