This week has brought nothing but great music to San Diego and tonight follows that pattern. The great and powerful Allen Stone plays a highly anticipated show at the Music Box and hip-hop's People Under the Stairs play at Belly Up. If you're up for a drive to a casino, Sycuan has KC & the Sunshine Band, and Kansas perform at Humphreys. LA's fuzz-pop is represented by Frankie & the Witch Fingers at Soda Bar and local mods the Bassics headline the Casbah. The one I'm super excited about, however, is Declan McKenna at the Irenic. The British musician was selected as Glastonbury's top emerging artist last year and I can't wait to see the show tonight and where the "Brazil" artist will go from here.
