I love the nightlife, and there's certainly no shortage of good shows to be enjoyed tonight, but today's bargain of the day can be found at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. With paid track admission, you get to witness the Pacific Classic, you can enjoy the craft microbrew festival (though there is an additional charge), and you can see three of San Diego's finest local bands shine at the Fm 94/9 Local Music Showcase. The weather appears to be cooling, so while you'll still need your sunscreen, you can enjoy the salty onshore breezes of Del Mar while checking out the Kabbs, the Howls and Dirty Sweet, who always perform their best when the sun is shining on an outdoor stage.
