There's an eclectic collection of lineups across town. The Griffin's Tuesday nights are presented by 91X's Loudspeaker with a lineup intended for those tired of the quiet folky bands and who just want to rock out. Spose headlines over at Soda Bar tonight. The rapper from Maine brings a different twist to the typical shows at the City Heights bar and brings along a solid lineup of supporting acts. Seven Grand just added Lady Dottie & the Diamonds as its regular Tuesday residency, which is sure to be a great time. And finally worth a mention, the Casbah has a solid all-local lineup. Host Tim Pyles can't stop gushing about headliner Amerikan Bear -- that's enough endorsement for me. Plus, SoundDiego friends Shake Before Us know how to get down. Plenty of low cover, high quality shows all over town will make it easy to get out for some midweek fun.
