If you were at the Casbah on Wednesday, you know why everyone wishes they'd grabbed tickets to Thursday's sold-out show with a repeat of Twin Shadow and Poolside. It's rare that I use the writer's cliche of "a good time was had by all," but in this instance it fits. Fortunately, if you don't have tickets, you can see the Yiffs at Soda Bar or head over to a free show at MaryJane's Underground with Wild Wild Wets and Schitzophonics. Or you can follow my lead and check out Tumbleweed Wanderers with Jesse LaMonaca at the Griffin, who were no doubt booked together because of the similarity in the headliner's band name with Jesse LaMonaca's Best Americana-winning record, The Lament of Tumbleweed Hawk. Besides all of the great music on Thursday, there's an official opening party of Seven Grand in North Park featuring the Get Down Boys and River City.
