Wednesday's features are about as opposite as you can get on the musical spectrum. At the Casbah, Andrew Belle performs -- an amazing singer-songwriter whose music has garnered a justified loyal following. With Grizfolk opening (who share the same imprint as Joshua James) you know I'll be up front with my eyes closed, letting the loveliness wash over me. However, the slow head sway isn't for everyone, so I'll direct your attention to the Black Angels, not to be confused with the other "Black" bands like Black Keys, Black Lips, or Black Mountain (whom they've toured with). Black Angels perform stunning psychedlic rock that is well-loved in their native Austin and have amassed quite a following across the States and Europe, which justifies their return at the Belly Up. Both shows are sure to please as long as you follow your music fancy.
