Sounds Like San Diego: August 16

Weatherbox's final show heads up your live-music options in San Diego on Tuesday

There are some real winners when it comes to live music tonight. Rodrigo y Gabriela are back for their second sold-out night at the Belly Up. Our friends in Weatherbox appear at the Che Cafe for what sounds like a farewell show, which means you should probably try to grab a ticket in advance or arrive early enough in case of a sell out. Lincoln Durham, who apparently writes his own Wiki page ("Lincoln Durham is an American alternative rock, southern gothic, revival punk, psycho blues, Americana singer, songwriter and one-man-band musician"), appears at the Casbah, and his music isn't nearly as pretentious as that description. Around town, Alvino & the Dwells appear at Tiki Tuesday at Bar Pink, Children of Pop are at Soda Bar, and LA Witch returns to town with a show at the Hideout.
