The weekend is here, and music and fun events abound. Tiki Oasis is back, so grab a mai tai and your favorite Hawaiian shirt and get down to Crowne Plaza Hotel. There's great music and it's a conference, too, and it's always a rager. Up in Vista, the Summergrass Bluegrass is a hoot, too. Then, of course, there's your usual hotspots of music. Personally, I'm excited about Helio Sequence returning to the Casbah merely because it's been so long since I've seen them, or maybe it's because I'm excited to catch opener Liam Finn. Meanwhile around town, Julian Marley takes over the Belly Up, Seventrain perform at the recently revived Brick By Brick, and the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club will be overcome by tweens and their moms who are there to catch Magic, whose infectious/ear-worm "Rude" will certainly be a hit among the crowd.
