Oh, music, you bring such joy and pain to my heart. Thursday has great shows in store -- not even a superhero could see them all. Cold War Kids return to S.D. for their first all-ages show (in awhile) at the House of Blues; Terry Malts returns for a set at the Void; while Mystic Braves headline the Casbah. I'm torn between Soda Bar and the Griffin. Kopecky Family Band play incredible shows plus, with Said the Whale and Brothers Weiss on the opening lineup -- it's going to be an awesome show. However, over at the Griffin, Bobby Long, who is from London but resides in N.Y., is sure to make these poor eyes weep into my whiskey when he performs gorgeous songs from A Winter's Tale. Whatever you do, get out, enjoy the live scene because it's just one of those nights.
