Just because Monday is right around the corner doesn't mean you can't rock out on Sunday. For starters, you can let your inner rocker out as Kiss and Motley Crue perform at Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre or stick to modern electro with Teengirl Fantasy at the Casbah. Guitar master Ottmar Liebert returns to Anthology with his band, Luna Negra, and ex-Crystal Castles members take over the Soda Bar in Parallels.

My vote for the night, however is up at the Belly Up. I might not be particularly known for shaking my booty on a dancefloor, but the afrobeat band Antibalas always delivers an energetic night that makes it hard for anyone to keep their feet still. The members of the band all perform in various projects, as they are all skilled and highly sought-after musicians. But when they are together, Antibalas will get any pre-Monday anxiety out of your system.
