There are so many great shows on Saturday that you might find yourself in the midst of a conundrum. There are some daytime festivals worth exploring not just for the live music, but for the culture, crafts and always-good food that comes with these fixtures in San Diego. By nightfall, Andrew Bird takes the cake over at Spreckels Theatre, which in my personal opinion might just be the best venue in the city when it comes to an artist like Bird. It doesn't come cheap, however, so if you're looking for another amazing troubadour, head over to Lestat's for Josh Damigo's official release party for his latest CD, Hope. The record is phenomenal and Josh has enough personality to make anyone swoon at his stage presence. From there, you can head over to the Casbah where two of L.A.'s best indies take the stage in Saint Motel and Races, supported by locals Italian Japanese and Kevin Martin. Plenty of goodness this Saturday night to keep all of your aural needs satiated.
