Action Bronson during Day 2 of the 2013 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival

Thursday is one of those nights when I would love to go to a show but I'm kind of priced out of the market. Interpol are performing at Humphrey's, and the show sold out in no time flat, meaning my only chance to hear them is if I decide to rack up my canoe and row there. It's fun, but it's also pretty chilly, so I don't know if that's really an option. Another amazing show in the northeast corner of the county is Jackson Browne (read our preview HERE). Joined by hometown troubadours Jack Tempchin and Joel Rafael, you can be sure this is going to be an incredible and intimate performance at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. My reality is closer to tonight, where I will catch either the Preatures at the Casbah, Three Bad Jacks at the Soda Bar, or Action Bronson at the Observatory.
