Sounds Like San Diego: April 9

If you didn't get your tickets to CityBeat's Festival of Beers, you might still be able to catch the bands by lining up at the fence on University. Still, there are plenty of other ways to get your music fix today that aren't sold out, so consider spending your night over at the Rumble at Bar Pink, this week featuring New Mexico, Vanaprasta and d/wolves. If a free show doesn't tickle your fancy, Josh Damigo continues his monthly Saturdays at Lestat's, and since he's moved to L.A., he's been bringing down some of his new friends to share the stage, and so far he's been on the mark, so go show him some love. Pete Yorn returns to the House of Blues, Hunx and his Punx take over the Tin Can, and an all-local rock show dominates Brick By Brick, so even if the forecast is accurate, don't let a little rain kill the rock &roll.
