It's your typical Thursday here in San Diego, which means you have plenty of choices to satisfy your music cravings. The Funeral Party, from Whittier, Calif., just released their debut, The Golden Age of Knowhere, and have made appearances on Late Night with David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel Live, and should bring a riveting show to the Soda Bar. Down in Middletown, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum bring the weird to the Casbah for their farewell tour, while hip-hop stylists People Under the Stairs perform at UCSD. There are solid shows all over town, so find a spot and enjoy the night, won't ya?
