Sounds Like San Diego: April 26

Black Mountain moves into Casbah after a free set from Nathaniel Rateliff & the Nightsweats at Quartyard Tuesday

If you're free this afternoon, head downtown for FM 94/9's free show with Nathaniel Rateliff & the Nightsweats. Typically the artists do only three or four songs, but after Rateliff's sold-out show at the Soda Bar, it will be super high energy and well worth the effort. Plus you can hang around Quartyard and grab some delicious food and craft beer. By nightfall, Casbah has an amazing lineup with Vancouver's Black Mountain and Boston singer/songwriter Marissa Nadler. Dirty Fences drop in at the Hideout, and Nebula Drag play Soda Bar with my favorite band name of the night, Supersonic Dragon Wagon. For those of you who maybe missed Sunday's tribute to Prince at the Casbah or simply didn't get enough, head to Bar Dynamite for another tribute.
