If you haven't had your fill of Brooklyn post-punk garage bands -- or if you just want to hear the genre done well -- then the Casbah has your number on Wednesday with the Men. Certainly an entertaining show and why not a Wednesday to party your face off? If that's not your bag, another band with a name that tells you nothing about the sound is Trust, a Canadian synth-pop band you can catch at Soda Bar. Singer (and, more famously, actor) Jeff Bridges returns to the Belly Up, this time with an opening set from his daughter Jessie. Elsewhere, Le Wrens perform a San Diego House Concert show at Swiss Park. Lots to do to get you over that midweek hump.
