Sounds Like San Diego: April 23

There are a lot of great shows this Tuesday, but I can always tell when an exceptional one is coming to town because I start hearing from friends I haven't seen in a while. "Know any hookups to BRMC?," one text read. Another just said, "Duuuude! Do you need a plus one!!" Well, yes, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club is returning to San Diego and everyone is excited about the show. They've built a solid base around their tours, almost evenly alternating free outdoor shows like at the Del Mar Racetrack or the now defunct SoCo Music Fest with indoor shows generally at the House of Blues. So no, this one isn't free, but I can tell you that there will be plenty of tickets available at the door the night of the show, so don't trust anyone who tells you otherwise. Tuesday also sees Boris at the Casbah, Black Bananas at Soda Bar, and locals Dirty Sirens will shred the Griffin.
