Sounds Like San Diego: April 22

Lots in store before the art-rock legends take the Cal Coast stage

Today is an exciting day ... It's Record Store Day across the country, and while San Diego, like most cities, has seen many of our shops close, we have a few strongholds (Lou's and M-theory) and a couple of newbies (Rhinoceros, Normal and FeeLit) who should be offering up some of those rare releases while also hosting bands, DJs and other goodies for shoppers. Once you've picked up your wax, head to Chicano Park Day in Barrio Logan or the CityBeat Festival of Beers in North Park. Then, night falls and you can catch Cold Cave's second night at Space, Portland indie folk band Joseph at Belly Up, local legend Cindy Lee Berryhill has an album release at Casbah or get down to Monophonics at Winston's. If you're looking for a big show, Pixies play OAT, Bayside play House of Blues and the Wailers are at Music Box.
