Cold Cave headline Space Bar's grand opening Friday (fka the Hideout).

This has certainly been an eventful and exciting week in music and it doesn't stop with the weekend. For one, we're really excited about the grand opening of Space Bar. Formerly the Hideout, the Void, Eleven, Radio Room, and Zombie Lounge, Space finally gives our friend Mario Orduno the, uh, space to breathe and finally take the reins the way he's always wanted (and deserved). Kicking off the new venture, the bar hosts two nights with Cold Cave. Meanwhile at the Casbah, Dead Feather Moon makes a visit from the far reaches of North County, Belly Up offers up Petty versus Eagles, and my favorite band name of the night, Zzymzy Gypsy Swing, entertain at Harbor Music Hall.
