Sounds Like San Diego: April 19

The Chantepleures head up a night of stellar local shows around town

After you spend the day at the annual Earth Fair at Balboa Park, get ready to party your Sunday night away. Casbah hosts a solid all-local lineup with the Slashes, Speaker in Reverse, Le Chateau and yet another Al Howard project, the Lion & the Lady. Soda Bar is keeping it local, too, with the Chantepleures, a band inspired by the '90s Manchester scene that I grew up loving. Tonight's calendar reminds you that sometimes it's good to keep it local.
