People say that nothing lasts forever, but you might argue that point when you look at Friday's lineup in a string of what have been some pretty amazing nights of music here in San Diego. I mean, tonight's Casbah lineup is an indie dream, with the appropriately named Cloud Nothings and Dream Buddies who will be joined by Jeans Wilder. The Zeros only play once in a blue moon but you can catch them at Soda Bar to revel in the legendary Chula Vista band's punkness, or you can catch Ed Ghost Tucker over at the Ken Club. My personal recommendation, however, is a little off the regular radar. Dizzy's have moved locations several times but have settled over at San Diego Jet Ski Rentals to host their shows and on Friday they present the multicultural gypsy band, Fishtank Ensemble. The band played Adams Avenue Street Fair a handful of years and just might be my favorite performance there of all time. They're virtuosos at their instruments and the music itself is fun and intricate. Do yourself a favor and check them out.
