Tonight is a great night to get out and support some hometown heroes. The Silent Comedy haven't played a full band show in town in quite some time, so tonight at the Irenic will be extra special because it's an all-ages show, and they're joined by Barbarian and Oh, Spirit -- who are celebrating their debut EP release. These shows start early and end by 10:30 p.m., so bring the kids and let them sleep in on Sunday. Meanwhile, Buck-O-Nine perform at the Casbah. These guys have been around San Diego for nearly three decades, and though their lives have all gone in different directions, they can still get together every year or two to bust out the jams. Nena Anderson plays at 3rd Space, Marina & the Diamonds headline the Observatory, and Ilya play at Soda Bar.
