Holy smokes! Look at those top six shows and tell me this town doesn't get amazing shows! The Big Pink rocked the Casbah last year with a bombastic performance that felt like an arena show, and if you caught them on the Coachella broadcast, you know they're great live. Band of Skulls returns to town with We Are Augustines and should pack the house at the Griffin, while tUnE-yArDs and St. Vincent will take over the House of Blues. '80s rockers Buzzcocks perform at the Belly Up, while Frankie Rose performs at Soda Bar. Lastly, UCSD's Price Center has a killer show with Seun Kuti, son of legendary performer Fela Kuti. Take your pick and enjoy the best Wednesday this music scene has seen in a very long time.
