If you're reading this, it probably means that you are not heading out to Coachella this weekend. So do yourself a favor and turn off your devices so you don't experience FOMO (fear of missing out) and just enjoy the amazing offerings that you have right here in sunny -- but not too sunny -- San Diego. Bar Pink has a solid Friday night live music lineup with Bloody Mary Bastards in the headlining slot, while Robin Roth acts as hostess with the mostess at the Whistle Stop with the Darrows and Snakesuit performing live. You can find me down at the Casbah to once again Kurt Vile & the Violators. I'm not really sure what it is about him that lures me, but every time I see him live I am always grateful that I went. I hope there are some acts this weekend that make you feel the same.
