    NEWSLETTERS

I generally have strong opinions about music in San Diego, yet tonight I'm feeling a bit ambivelent. I have been reading about how Moon Duo have been burning up their West Coast tour, and I know that Ale Mania and Trap Gold will offer great support, but sometimes perhaps we support our other familiar friends, like Wendy Bailey and the True Stories, who play tonight at the Tin Can, promising a strong night of local rock along with the Midwinters and Chris Hall. There's music all over town, and while it might not be burning up the hipster blogosphere, it might be time to check out some new bands at a familiar bar, or maybe even old familiar bands at a bar that is new to you. There's always something -- the fun is where you make it.
