For the next couple of weeks, you're going to be hearing a lot of the "C" word. If you're like me and have a lot of friends who care about music, your Twitter and Facebook walls are going to be burning up as people plan for the first year where Coachella takes place over the course of two weekends. While many bands performing at the festival will be hitting Southern California between the two Coachella weekends, some -- like Squeeze -- are actually kicking off full tours.
The UK band, whose first radio hit was "Cool For Cats" in 1979, was a major radio staple in the 80's and continues to enjoy a lively on-again, off-again career that has spanned more than three decades. On Tuesday night, the legends perform at the House of Blues. And with Steve Poltz opening, as he did on Squeeze's European tour in December, it's sure to be a fun night of nostalgia and pop goodness. Don't forget to pick up their new special-edition vinyl release of Live at the Fillmore that will only be available at tour stops.
