For many, spring break is coming to an end, but for most of us long out of school, we just enjoy the deluge of music that comes with spring -- and pretty much everyone wants to be on the West Coast this time of year. So we benefit, but you also have to make tough choices. On Friday, the frontman of Delta Spirit, Matthew Logan Vasquez, plays at the Casbah in a solo-project show, Peter Murphy has a sold-out show at the Irenic, and Tyler the Creator brings down the house at the Observatory. Hardcore legends Sick of It All play at Soda Bar, and the Redwoods Revue reconvenes at the Music Box, and legend Patty Griffin is joined by Sara Watkins and Anais Mitchell at the California Center for the Arts Escondido. There are fun shows large and small all over town, so don't let this be the night that you stay home.
