Sounds Like San Diego: April 1

I have been pretty fortunate in my life that I have had the privilege to see some amazing and memorable performances by bands, but there are a few shows over the years that I've missed that have become the thing of legend, like Nirvana at the old Casbah or Arcade Fire at  the Casbah. One such show was the Polyphonic Spree at Cane's. I don't recall exactly why I missed the show, but if you ever run into someone who was there, they'll talk about it like a religious experience. Depending on who you ask and how exagerrated the story is, there were 15-30 people onstage in white robes resembling a small cult, and the performance descriptors generally include the words epic and/or amazing. The group has no plans to record a full album, but will focus on releasing singles digitally and via 7-inch records.
