SoundDiego called the lucky winner of our Thanks a Million Page View Sweepstakes just after noon on Monday.
Coronado resident Karen Johnson said "you really made my day" when she found out she had won tickets to KT Tunstall, the English Beat, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe and Delta Spirit -- and two $50 Anthology gift cards.
Johnson said she heard about the sweepstakes on Monday morning.
"I was watching the news this morning and happened to see it while I was online," she said.
Johnson said that while she's a big Radiohead fan -- "huge – my daughter got me hooked on them" -- she entered the contest for her daughter and husband, who are the ones constantly downloading new music from indie and alternative bands on iTunes.
The contest was SoundDiego's way of celebrating its 1 millionth page view -- we also took a look back at all the galleries and videos we put together so far. The contest kicked off Monday, Nov. 1, at noon, and we picked a winner exactly one week later.
The prizes were provided to SoundDiego by Anthology, the Belly Up Tavern and Live Nation.
