When we previewed Blonde back before it opened in August, we had a feeling it would become something special -- and it hasn't let us down. It's the perfect spot for a show or a party, and that's just what we're bringing you on Oct. 20! Consider yourself officially invited!
Robin Roth will be our party emcee, Belching Beaver Brewery will be pouring it on as our craft-beer sponsor (btw, have you had their Peanut Butter Stout? It's soooo epic), and we've got some special musical guests booked, including the dynamic roots-rock headliners Creature and the Woods. Roth kinda loves 'em.
"The harmonies that Roger [Molina] and Justin [Rodriguez] create together are magical," Roth told us. "It all seems so effortless and natural. Going to one of their shows is like a journey unfolding before your very eyes. And there's always a surprise or two along the way."
Blonde partygoers will also be able to witness OB's wild and notoriously unpredictable AJ Froman.
"The psychedelic, prog-rock vibe of AJ Froman fits perfectly with headliners Creature and the Woods," Roth said. "Sarah [Norwood] has a strong vocal presence that oozes the '70s, and it almost feels as if you are transported back in time."

But hold the phone, there's more: Our alt-rock friends the Bulbs will be on the bill too, and Robin's pretty stoked about it: "This garage-rockin' band from TJ will get the party started -- make sure you're ready to dance and have some fun!"
Our shindig pops off at 7 p.m., so be sure to show up early for some Belching Beaver suds, and be prepared to have fun! Of course, a SoundDiego LIVE party wouldn't be complete without dishing out some happy hour freebies to folks that RSVP -- so get on it!
