Skip Sleep; Spend That Extra Hour Here

It’s time to fall back this weekend. Yep, once 2 a.m. on Sunday morning comes around we change the clocks back to 1 a.m. Too bad we can’t stay at the clubs an extra hour. But it sure will be nice to get that much needed sleep. Unless you decide to embark in some after hours fun.

Thursday night don’t miss Treasure Fingers with an opening set from Brady Spear. RSVP to get on the No Cover before 10:30 p.m. (guest list here). Also Downtown, Fluxx EDM brings you Germany’s premier breakthrough house DJ, Moguai. Plus, opening sets from Jason Ross, Elektrofyd and Dropset. Get the deets via this link

I know it isn’t a dance event per se, but I’m definitely going to stop by the SdDialedIn Five Year Anniversary Party on Friday night at The Griffin and support my girl Rosemary. After all, she has worked her butt off these past several years and it’s time to show our appreciation. Get more info here. After that I’m gonna hit up U-31 for Feel The Noise and check out the Brazilian electro/house duo Database. Plus, sets from Colour Vision and resident DJ Gabe Vega. Details via this link.

Saturday I’ll be hosting Club Ascension at The Kava Lounge with my good friend Tom King. We’ll also be DJing throughout the night with Severin and Bloodline. Plus, one of my favorite local DJs Lady Noir is celebrating her birthday. Gothic Volunteer Alliance will be on hand collecting non-perishable items for the San Diego Food Bank. They’ll even have prizes for the most donations, so please give to this worth cause. It’s your chance to win tickets to see Peter Murphy and She Wants Revenge on Dec. 6 at the Belly Up. For more info, check out this link.

Other Thursday through Saturday events are listed on my blog. Here’s hoping this month doesn’t go as quickly as the last and I’ll see you on the dance floor.
