Rockers Help the Littlest Victims

Rock-industry standouts will take the stage at the House of Blues on Wednesday night at a VIP gala benefiting pediatric cancer research.

Doors open for the Future Aid All Stars Band at 6 p.m.

Show headliners include blues vocalist Ruby Hayes, bassist James East, who has played with Eric Clapton and the Brazilian jazz musician Sergio Mendes; guitarist and singer/songwriter Greg Douglass (Van Morrison and the Steve Miller Band); Grammy award-winning producer Jeff Bova (Celine Dion, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson); and guitarist Andy Andrus, who has played with Billy Preston and John Lee Hooker. Celtic rockers the Bad Blokes will kick off the night.

All proceeds from the HOB show will benefit Serve the Future, a nonprofit aimed at eliminating pediatric cancer around the globe. The organization also promotes education and sustainable community development to benefit the world's youth.

Early arrivals on Wednesday will get to meet the artists and are encouraged to bring items to autograph. Tickets are available at the door (21-plus) for $25.
