Most of the Halloween parties start next weekend. But over the next few days, there are many fun concerts and events for you to choose from.

At the Office, it’s Boogie vs. House with DJs Kid Wonder and Matches. Free entry and a hosted bar before 10:30 p.m. with your RSVP via this link. At the Whistle Stop, it’s Makeout Weird with their monthly night featuring Batwings, who just released their brand new EP. DJs Ego War, Jon Doss and Mnstrpsy will provide the soundtrack for the rest of the night. Get more info here. The Casbah features Cold Cave, DVA Damas and DJ Mario Orduno.

At 4th & B Friday night it’s Yasiin Bey, a.k.a. Mos Def. More details via this link. Finish up your night at the Kava Lounge with Broken Beat or head to Voyeur for LA Riots.

After you partake of the Neighborhood Anniversary Block Party downtown Saturday, check out Major Lazer at House of Blues for an 18-and-up show. Grab more info here. Live Wire is celebrating its 20-year anniversary with a party at the Lafayette Hotel. AMiniature and No Knife will perform live and you never know who might show up onstage. If you don’t have tickets already, good luck getting into this one. Boys & Girls presents Fred Falke with Adam Salter, ColourVision and Tres Dubois at El Dorado. Get details via this link.
