This week has been action-packed with shows in San Diego. And it’s only going to get busier this weekend, starting with Thursday. Here are some of the events on my radar.

Le Spank featuring Portugal’s Social Disco Club with Jon Dadon and Boys Don’t Disco is at the Office. There’s no cover before 10:30 p.m. with your RSVP here. Downtown, it’s Fluxx EDM with headliner Harvard Bass. For discounted entry, go to this link. At Quality Social, Indian Collective presents Lee Reynolds, Memo Rex and Buba Cortez. There’s no cover and you can grab more info here.

The 91X Del Mar Concert Series continues Friday with Michael Franti & Spearhead performing after the last race. More info via this link. Later on that night, LED presents Felix Da Housecat plus Deth Hertz at Voyeur and ticket info is here. At Kadan, it’s one last hurrah for Moonshake. If you haven’t heard, Kadan is closing its doors for good and Moonshake is being given a proper burial. That’s at least until they can secure another venue which may or may not be in the works. Until then, join in on the fun Friday night where patrons are strongly encouraged to wear black attire. Since this is the last one, it’s only fitting that co-creators Lee Reynolds, Mark E Quark and Dazzla are on hand to play all the songs that were part of the night’s four-year existence. Let’s give this one a proper send off. You can keep up to date on future Moonshake events here.

Saturday, Ben Harper performs as part of the Del Mar Concert Series at the racetrack. The show is free with your track admission and details are here. The Identity Festival invades San Diego Saturday at Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre for an all-ages event featuring Eric Prydz, Paul Van Dyk, Hardwell, Audrey Napoleon, Eva Simmons, Porter Robinson and more. The fun goes from 2 - 11 p.m. and you can grab more details via this link. That night, the official afterparty going until 4 a.m. is at Voyeur with Eric Prydz and Audrey Napoleon. Grab your ticket info here.

Intervention Sunday pool party action features headliner Gareth Emery plus NouveauBeats & Vince Le Fin, Nick G and DJ Frankie M at the Hard Rock Hotel. All presale tickets are sold out but you can go here for ticket info. At Wavehouse in Mission Beach, it’s PeaceTreaty, Chris James, DJ MakJ and John Roman.

So much to choose from this weekend. Keep up to date on upcoming events via my blog here and I’ll see you on the dance floor.

Robin Roth is a familiar voice in the San Diego scene.  She is on the air weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on 91X, plus she promotes and spins all over town. For more info about upcoming gigs, check out her event blog. Follow Robin on Twitter @robin_roth or submit your DJ listings here.
