Fools Rush In

This month is flying by and Sunday is April 1, so don’t let anyone fool you! A great weekend lineup of dance events is on the horizon. Italian DJ/producer Benny Benassi was at Fluxx on Wednesday for an 18+ show and he’s back on Thursday night to bring satisfaction to the 21+ crowd. Plus, opening sets from Jason Ross, the Office Twins and Taylor C. Last I heard, all the presale tickets were sold-out so you may want to get there super early if you want in on the action.

On Friday, set out for a night of adventure as the Oceanside Museum of Art celebrates Arrrt After Dark with Pirates Ashore. Inspired by the striking nautical sculptures by John Taylor in the Ghost Fleet exhibit, the museum will create a pirate town filled with visual treasures to tantalize your senses. Don your finest pirate attire and join in on the fun starting at 7 p.m. You can get more details here. Since that event ends at 10 p.m., there’s plenty of time to head downtown for the Lovelife party at Analog. And, since the theme is Gold, you’ll fit right in. Lee Foss is headlining with support from Jon Dadon, Boys Don’t Disco, Justine Baule and Spacebyrdz. Another fun and free option is checking out the Juan MacLean DJ set plus Office Twins at Quality Social.

Saturday, join me for the celebration of Club Sabbat’s 14 Year Anniversary. The party will be happening at Numbers in Hillcrest with DJ's Diskdroid, Liquid Grey and yours truly, with a special performance from Madame Raine and Sabrina Geisha at midnight. More info via this link.

Other Thursday through Saturday events are listed on my blog. Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you fools on the dance floor!
