Another holiday weekend is upon us, followed by Mardi Gras on Tuesday. With so much going on around town, we'd better pace ourselves.

A few things caught my eye for Friday night, one of them being Moonshake. This event at Kadan will feature special guest Gavin Hardkiss, along with resident DJs Bob Dazzla, Lee Reynolds and Mark Quark. Get more info via this link. Other Friday night events that look interesting include Pierce Fulton and Brazzabelle at Voyeur and Club Metro '80s New Wave Dance Party at the Kava Lounge.

On Saturday, don’t miss RAC at The Loft at UCSD. The Remix Artist Collective is a DJ duo that reanimates our favorite popular tunes with influences ranging from electronica and dance to rock. They’ve been featured on Pitchfork and Stereogum, just to name a few. Keith Sweaty will do an opening set so get there early. Details here. Other events to check out include Social Club at Onyx and Le Castle Vania and HeartAttak at Voyeur. Always check the Facebook invitations because a lot of these events have free entry before 10:30 p.m. with your RSVP.

Get ready for lots of fun Sunday night when LED’s Anniversary Party happens at Valley View Casino Center (aka the Sports Arena) from 8 p.m - 4 a.m. This 18+ event (21+ to drink) features Knife Party, and their only other California date is already sold out so be sure to catch them here. Dirty South, Bingo Players, Tommy Trash, Kill The Noise plus guest Nicky Romero and special guests will all be part of the night. Watch this video and get ready for lots of action on the dance floor. No one will be sitting in their seats anyway.

More Friday through Sunday events are listed here. Make it a safe holiday weekend with a designated driver and I’ll see you on the dance floor.
