Currently directing and starring in his film The Man With the Iron Fist, RZA is faced with scheduling conflicts that forced him to remove himself entirely from the tour. The martial-arts film is being filmed in China and will also star Russell Crowe' the unlikely pairing is generating buzz.
The Dec. 4 show at 4th & B will be the second stop on the tour after a show in San Francisco.
RZA has produced nearly all of Wu-Tang’s albums and is a renowned hip-hop producer.
“RZA regrets not being able to perform on any of the upcoming Reunion dates and had made every attempt to be a part of the shows," stated a 4th & B press release.
The remaining Wu members will be at the Dec. 4 show. If necessary, tickets will be refunded at point of purchase until midnight on Dec. 3.
